With correct use, the opener never touches the food contents – so there is no need to wash the unit each time.
You can clean your 2 in 1 Safety Can Opener by wiping it with a damp cloth. Due to it’s small, internal metal parts, we do not recommend cleaning the unit in a dishwasher. For the same reason, do not submerge in water.
